Alt Crunch is founded by Scott Stevens, the founder of Grays Peak Capital.

With a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Michigan, Scott Stevens began his career as an M&A investment banker, where he covered multiple industries including tech media, telecom, and consumer. Afterward, he became a senior analyst at a hedge fund called Coatue Capital, a firm that specializes in technology, media, telecom, and consumer.

Then in 2015, Scott Stevens decided to start a global international firm, Grays Peak Capital, in New York City. He brought together all the knowledge and experience he accumulated from his previous firms to create the template for his firm and the rest is history as they say.

Alternative Investments for Beginners

If you’re new to the investment world, you may wonder what your options are. While stocks and bonds are the most common types of investment, there are a variety of alternatives that can be a great fit for beginners. Here are a few alternative investment options to consider:

1. Mutual Funds offer investors a way to pool their money with other investors to invest in various assets. This can be a great option for beginners because it’s typically lower risk than investing in individual stocks or bonds. Additionally, mutual funds offer built-in diversification, which can help protect your investment from market fluctuations.

2. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) Real estate investment trusts allow you to invest in properties without actually purchasing them yourself. This can be a great option if you’re interested in real estate but don’t want the hassle of being a landlord. REITs typically offer high dividend yields, which means you’ll earn regular income from your investment even if the property value goes down.

3. Index Funds are another type of mutual fund that tracks an index, such as the S&P 500 Index. This type of fund is ideal for beginner investors because it’s low-risk and requires little upkeep or management on your part – all you need to do is buy shares and let the fund do its job!
